Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 released yesterday and is estimated to bring America out of recession
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the latest release from Infinity Ward and published by Activison. This series has been one of the most successful in the entire first person shooter world.
The game released yesterday and has already caused pandemonium for game buyers. The game release has been cited as saying that “This game could lead the US out of the recession.” It has been anticipated to draw nearly a half a billion dollars in the first week alone.
Spokes person for Activision says “We are trying to create the best game possible to get up tight Americans off of their money. This has been no easy chore but I think we have made a product to do it.”
People have been seen lining up outside of stores for the release for blocks. In Scranton PA one death has been reported when two teenage men fought over a copy of the game.
“We are capitalizing on the lazy American spirit. People now a day’s don’t want to go out and socialize at friend’s homes. They just want to stay home and be entertained, and we are getting rich because of it. We released it before Black Friday because we knew the competition would be much lower.”
On the bright side this could lead America out of the current recession, but leads America in to a deeper slump of laziness. So is this the answer to America woes?
