Charlie Weis upset at Notre Dame over office built for him
Those close to Charlie Weis are saying that “He wanted to stick it to Notre Dame, and he has accomplished it.”
The reports are saying that when Charlie was hired the head football coach’s office was completely redone to appease the new football zar.
Notre Dame spent fifty thousand dollars on the renovation which included: Cherry paneling, Cherry inlaid desk that was suitable for a king, state of the art lighting that was reported to increase concentration and knowledge.
This office was the same style office that the University Florida implemented for head coach Urban Meyer.
Charlie walked in and at first site and showed his extreme displeasure towards the gesture. He told the university that he did not like the office and forced them to completely change the office to a more traditional style office with a chalk board, stating “This is what will bring out my genius.”
Charlie said that “all the new aged technology would not help him coach better, and that stuff that Florida did for Urban Meyer was pointless and it would not help them turn the program around.”
