John Frankfurt hires a mesothelioma lawyer in hopes to sue the US Navy for negligence. Mr. Frankfurt claims that the Navy did not take every possible precaution to help protect him and others from asbestos which is now know as extremely harmful to your health.
Frankfurt contracted mesothelioma in the early 90’s and said his life has been a living hell since finding out. When he found out he immediately contacted Mesothelioma-R-Us law firm to help him find out where he was exposed to asbestos and make them pay for it.
“I didn’t know where I contacted it at but once I found out it was the Navy my lawyers said, don’t mess with them, but I said it is their fault and I want my money.” Frankfurt has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting the Navy for negligence in not telling them at the time that asbestos will give them cancer.
The US Navy won the case and the appeal but Mr. Frankfurt insists that they were in the wrong and continue to send in appeal after appeal fighting it. A spokes person for Mesothelioma-R-Us say’s “We have advised Mr. Frankfurt there is nothing more we can do, but he insists on paying us to send in appeal after appeal.”
When asked the question why do you keep fighting this seemingly unwinnable battle? He said “I gave 12 years of my life to them, and now it looks like I am going to pay the ultimate price for my country. I didn’t sign up for that.”
