FACT: New NASA Space Flight Goes Too Far

NASA

NASA Space Program

NASA has announced it’s plans to launch the 1st manned space craft with no intentions on returning to earth. The expedition code name 9x will be a fully functioning “Mini Space Station” launched with a traditional rocket engine from Cape Canaveral Florida on 5/22/2010.

Astronauts Bill Bernard (age 76) and Shela Weiss (age 72) will be the first two people ever to enter space without thoughts of return. NASA has launched this innovative new program in hopes of  ”getting some extra miles” out of there older astronauts by having them collect new data on the outer planets.

“We are very excited to hear the first hand accounts of these two brave astronauts when they pass the moon, Mars and a number of other heavenly body’s.” says NASA PR Nancy Woolworth. “This is a great opportunity for us to collect never before seen data while not having to put any of our Quality astronauts in harms way. We truly do appreciate the big sacrifice made by both Bill and Shela.”
Although it has been stated that unmanned mission can gather just as much data as a maned space flight, NASA has given this mission the 100% go ahead and it seem to be keeping right on schedule.
