Contrary to popular beliefs the annual thanksgiving day gorge is not total diet suicide.  Some of the Thanksgiving favorites are not as harmful as we have been brought to believe.

Pumpkin pie though it may be 1036 calories it is high in vitamin A and also a great source of fiber.  The cranberries that are high in sugar and are sure to keep you wound up for the entire day (energy) are high in vitamin C.  This is helpful in boosting your immune system.

If you can look past the mounds of marshmallows and empty calories you will find the sweet potatoes that are full of vitamin B6 which is great for naturally boosting your energy.
