Santas line up for the N1H1 vaccination.
Santa’s from around the country are complaining about the lack of N1H1 vaccinations. They say they should be treated as top priority for the new N1H1 vaccinations.
Santa’s feel that they are on the same tier as care workers, teachers, and child care workers, and deserve to be put as top priority for the vaccine. One Santa from New York stated “These children are like over sized Petri dishes that are sitting on our laps.”
Others have joked that Santa’s should stop wearing the gloves and start using hand sanitizer, or as others have said ‘Santa-tizer’ between each child.
The government has also agreed that Santa’s deserve to be priority for this holiday season. They have issued that all Santa’s will be eligible to receive the vaccine where supplies are available.
The center for disease control stated “Occupational Santa’s are in the high risk category for the N1H1 virus do to their weight, therefore we have granted their request to be moved into priority for the vaccine. We do not want one of them to contract the virus and spread it around to little children all around the country.”
